There’s a concrete bunker in the New Acton precinct that belies a warm interior, interesting aspect and great possibilities as a gallery space. For one night it became the centre of a unique celebration as Glenn Keys and Dr. Andrew Walker were inducted into the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame for Aspen Medical which began in a Canberra dining room just over ten years ago and has become a world leading provider of healthcare services in Australia and around the world.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year Global Hall of Fame award recognizes outstanding and innovative entrepreneurs and Aspen Medical epitomises that. What they’ve achieved is remarkable and  diverse with on-base health services to the ADF, and health professionals to indigenous communities in the NT among a formidable range of services.

Celebrating at the bunker bash, Glenn and Amelda Keys showed off that subtle tan of a couple just back from sunnier climes; they’ve been cooking, walking and sunning in Tuscany with their family. Well deserved because Glenn is a man who always seems to be rushing back from or hurrying to somewhere else. Dr Andrew on the other hand seems to take everything in his stride. He appears to be the kind of doctor who considers well and acts accordingly, just what the doctor's ordered for Aspen Medical's continuing success. Congratulations!
