Chartered Accountants Christmas Party @ the Nishi GalleryShare Event on Facebook Share Event on Twitter Share Event on LinkedIn
The Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand have had a big year of events, not the least of which was their major event with Sir Bob Geldof as their star for the annual Awards for Excellence in Government where he stirred the conversation, voiced his heartfelt opinions on many and varied aspects of the current world order and promoted thinking on leadership.
But like all businesses at this time of the year it was time to let their hair down, invite industry representatives to the party, include a charitable element and – if they saw fit – dress up too. A James Bond theme brought out the dinner suits for the men, slinky stunners for the Bond girls and lots of cats for the effervescent Deb Harper. The winning effort by Michael Talevich dressed as a scar faced villainous Ernst Stavro Blofeld with an off the shelf stuffed cat that filled the bill for the hard to find white furred blue eyed Persian that Blofeld has. Finding a similar Persian difficult and not wise for this kind of party.
A Marymead giving tree provided the opportunity for donating at a time of the year when charities struggle for the extra dollars they need and this effort evidence of a corporate social consciousness finding new partnerships in the community.
As they partied at the Nishi Gallery, outside a drone camera was casing the space. Remember to look up these days, you never know when someone's manipulating a drone.
