A smart business strategy that began nearly 30 years ago has new Canberra premises in the Nishi building and if you need what the market calls a ‘virtual office’, have I got the place for you.
Nishi has a view, a magnificent one from up high gazing over Lake Burley Griffin and Servcorp who provide serviced offices and an extensive range of services and options for their clients have fitted out a slice of the ninth floor for their expanding business. It’s an international company, with excellent profits, located in 52 cities around the world all in prestigious buildings, and now with a move from their former St George building site to this set of rooms with views in the prestigious Nishi building the team invited a bunch of business people to enjoy an opening celebration with the one and only Allan Hawke as the official opener. Now this is a man who knows his offices, knows just what’s needed for the corporates, small businesses and those who strut the world stage with a computer, a briefcase and a change of undies looking to find a space to do business when you don’t need a permanent space.
Managing Director Melissa Miller has been overseeing the build and created a beautiful space that feels like a very high end office complex, or a movie set for just that, with a smart fitout and on trend styling and offering a variety of choices. The walk through kitchen space is Melissa favourite with a splashback colour someone on the block should’ve thought to use and views to our beautiful city all around. As a family buisness the head honchos, the Moufarrige boys, Nick and Alf were in town for the opening, with Nick bragging about his babysitting expertise and the pleasure it brings but I bet the grandkids don’t know that he can conjure up a magic carpet ride; though nowadays only in the virtual world of television.
