Synergy - Launch of New Premises in Barton

17 March 2016

Synergy is a word to describe the interaction of two or more organisations whose combined effect is greater than the sum of their separate abilities. And Synergy is the name of a four year old company that started in a one bedroom apartment in Civic with inadequate air conditioning, five to a desk and big ideas for what is in essence an accounting and management consulting business.

And now with new premises on National Circuit, a trendy fitout and a growing client base it was a chance to celebrate success and make us all jealous of the playground down the back, the open plan layout that suits today’s hot-desking attitude and a welcoming staff breakout area with big screen televisions, the mandatory espresso coffee machine and lots of natural light, big windows and a couple of 1960’s PMG replica phone booths for a budding Clark Kent to change in.

Chief Minister Andrew Barr did the opening honours with a ribbon cutting before we surged into the space and down the back to the swings.....yes proper rope swings that are not for high swinging but for quiet leisurely movement to soothe and serenade someone who needs it, and a bounce around on some very comfortable seats.

Synergy is a Telstra Business Award winner for Medium Enterprise in the ACT and this new space can only enhance the opportunities for it to continue as a competitive alternative to the international companies that have proliferated in the city. Think of it as a playground for grown-ups, where doing business is a pleasure.
